The first prototype is done and is running very well. The missing steps for the final test drive were to assembly the power supply for the Arduino itself and the dc motors. For the Arduino I have used a simple 9V battery adapter. The robot base is using a bracket for two 18650 batteries, which was included within the assembly kit for the robot base. So, if you are vaping, you can use your batteries from your mod. I think for the future there is a need for replacement. Two 18650 will deliver together 7,2 V but the dc motors can run at 9V. So there is some improvement in performance possible.
Additionally some lines of code were needed for telling “Horst” to turn right when an obstacle will appear in a giving range. The code is using the libs I have created in the previous posts. The repository for the project can be found here:
